The image shows part of an icy candle lantern. When we have a really hard frost I make these lanterns as garden decorations in the winter. I freeze also flowers like tulips inside the lantern, as it is here.

I am blessed to have my whole family come and celebrate with us, 5 children, 4 spouses, 9 grandchildren, and 3 friends, so we will have a house full of fun, love, and laughter. I wish that all of you are able to celebrate with others. My wish is that no-one is lonely during this holiday. Celebrated my birthday over the weekend...Guess I was taking too long to make my wish-the candles almost melted away!
If this was in July it could be a perfect day swimming and picnicking on this small beach. Today at -10 Celsius it was hard to get out of the car to take a photograph of this gorgeous little spot.
