The "hidden city"—the pockets of wilderness where illicit activity goes unseen.

Another panda totally burnt out to its shell, you can see the burnt patch behind where the transit van got torched.

Joyriders traffic jam in the local woods.

Another bites the dust, a burnt out roasted landrover.

Teenagers take a joyride over the weekend, the aftermath on a Sunday morning.

Pioneer settlers purchased ISHNALA from the Winnebago tribe in 1826 and a log cabin trading post was constructed. In 1909 the Coleman family purchased the cabin and built their dream house. The original stone fireplace, log walls and staircase still remain as part of the restaurant’s architecture.

A Citroen C4 which got burnt out back in 2023 has finally got a friend to join it. Both burnt out down one of the tracks in the woods.

Failed to gane access to the woods, got caught out by the farmers ditch.

Farmland destroyed, with a rusting burnt out shell awaiting for the farmer to drag it away.

crashed into a fallen branch then set on fire.

Stolen, stripped and dumped. Just another victim added to the fields and surrounding woods.

If you are interested in bird / wildlife photography, there is a very cool place near the Wisconsin Dells called the "International Crane Fountation".

Whooping Crane

Scientific Name:Grus americana

Height: 5 ft; Wingspan: 7-8 ft

Field Marks: Adults - red patch on forehead, black mustache and legs, black wing tips visible in flight; juveniles - cinnamon-brown feathers

Population: ~ 599 (captive and wild)

International Crane Foundation

Located in Baraboo, WI the ICF is home to 15 species of Crane including several ultra-rare species. The staff at ICF are committed to the protection, study and betterment of Cranes all over the world.

They have several very impressive enclosures including a couple that enable close-in photography of beautiful birds. It's a GREAT place to spend an entire morning or afternoon as the grounds are beautiful.

ICF is open Memorial Day through Labor Day and they have an excellent guided tour. My recommendation is to take the family up to the Dells and visit Circus World, the International Crane Foundation and spend one or two days enjoying the waterparks. If you have extra time or get rained on you can also drive 30 mins to see House on the Rock or "Taliesin".
