This is the building where the famous Room 641A is. If you don't know what that means, its where the government was caught wiretapping without a warrant internet backbone traffic.... and then the government was able to make the case disappear.
Yesterday, there were protests there, I think about the company trying to screw over the communication workers.

I was enjoying a lazy Sunday afternoon, lying on the couch listening to my favorite radio program (Wiretap) and thought it might do as my portrait for the day. Obviously (furled eyebrow), I wasn't able to convey the laziness and relaxed-ness of the afternoon as I was feeling whilst listening to the radio.
The Watergate scandal began at The Watergate, a complex of apartments, retail stores, and offices that included the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee (DNC). On June 17, 1972, burglars entered DNC HQ intending to install listening devices and wiretaps. D.C. police caught all but one of the burglars after a call from a security guard who noticed a suspicious piece of tape on an office door.
The security guard, Frank Wills, never received the recognition that he deserved.

As of that date (4/29/06) our exhaulted ruler George W. Bush according to the Boston Globe had circumvented 704 laws. That's more than his father (212) and Bill Clinton (170) combined. And this is the man that says he can wiretap any American citizen without a warrant? Even if we could elect him to a 3rd term (God Forbid) he would not get back in. His approval rating is in the toilet. And this is an administration that's apparently bathed in oil. Dick Cheney once served on the Union pacific Railroad's Board Of Directors and did something with Halliburton. Richard Davidson runs UP now and well, if you go to www.snakebites.org/archives, well you'll see similarities between Union Pacific and the Administration.
But I agree with this.
