Just messing with wire wool and an old fractal lens. Looks like the colours are on a theme this weekend.

Pavel P. found out that this is a work by Josef Pleskot (a Czech architect), who also designed other buildings in this industrial site. The sculpture here is called "Steel Phoenix" and should evoke wings of this mythical bird that are symbolically lifting up a blast furnace from the ashes...

This is a 3/8" (10mm) wire rope sling I've kept around for over 40 years thinking it might be useful. Finally found an use!

Wire is probably the most used hand tool. This one is very thin,
its diameter is about 0,3 mm, so it can be used as a thread :)

Normally I wouldn't post anything with a wire running through it, but I had a chance to capture this Osprey with a fish on top of the hydro pole. I could not take the photo any other way as there obstacles in my way, and a rather large pond right in front of me.
