An image from a trek across the fields on Daymer. New fencing being added to a field near to my Aunts house and produced a nice abstract.
Playing around with some more wire wool tonight, This time I used a bird feeder to hold the wool instead of a whisk and it was so much better. The wool was safely inside the bird feeder and didn't fly out all over the place. Given this shot a pink tint though as I thought it looked cool :)

That was a blooming hot weekend wasn't it? Yesterday I melted and today was almost as bad. my makeup went shinny and my hair just flopped. so wasn't looking my best. Had a nice walk around to my parents and sat in the garden for a few hours melting some more lol.
Wire-tailed swallow is a small passerine bird in the swallow family. It has two subspecies: H. s. smithii, which occurs throughout Africa, and H. s. filifera, which is found in southern and southeastern Asia. It is mainly resident, but populations in Pakistan and northern India migrate further south in winter. This bird is found in open country near water and human habitation. Wire-tailed swallows are fast flyers and they generally feed on insects, especially flies, while airborne. They are typically seen low over water, with which they are more closely associated than most swallows.
