Just could be any size!
These are items for a 1/12th scale Dolls House - the little wooden train a plaything for one of the inhabitants.
The train is just over 3 inches long.
For just once in a while I had sunshine on my desktop so the shadow of the chair is reasonably sharp. Perhaps the lens could have focussed somewhere else, perhaps the depth of field could have been greater, perhaps ....
But here it is, a hand-held reasonably quickly taken photograph.

This is another image from my visit back in September, to the North End of Hamilton, Ontario, looking for subjects to capture. Accompanying me was fellow Bando de Kvar member, Matt (www.flickr.com/groups/2472126@N24/pool/ or www.instagram.com/tagg.art/ ). As we were wandering through the residential area just West of James St North in Hamilton’s North end, I spotted a yellow wire chair sitting on a small porch (well, perhaps just a covered entrance-way) tiled with large blue tiles. And a couple of boosts were nicely tucked under the chair, although I would have some concerns that they might walk off if they were mine. - JW

Found these chairs on eBay and took a chance since they were not advertised for doll,s they sit rather low to the ground but they are so mid century perfect!
Found the metal ampersand at Hobby Lobby, I have the exact same one, in human size sitting at the top of my book shelf.

My new ink: an Eames Wire Chair. I've been wanting to get this tattoo for a while and it seemed an appropriate time as graduation is nearing and I'm ready to get my start as a young designer. Charles and Ray Eames are 2 of the designers I admire the most for their indepth processes and trial-and-error methodology.
Unique note about this chair: It won the first mechanical patent for design.

Kung Fu Saloon has great decor, as you can see. I prefer shooting 100-200 iso film on my LC-A at night. I'm usually within 6 feet of my subject and my colorsplash blows out my shot too much on 400 iso film.
Artist: Erik Höglund
Erik Höglund, (1932-1998) was a Swedish sculptor, painter, graphic artist and glass designer. He was a designer at Boda glassworks between 1953 and 1973. Erik Höglund came to change Swedish art glass manufacturing by introducing new ideas. His appropriation of terms including engravings, colors and earthy, asymmetrical lines were successful in foreign markets. He cooperated later with other glassworks, such Pukeberg, Lindshammar and Strömbergshyttan.
This is a Sculptural glass wall by Erik Höglund at the Landskrona Art Gallery.
This is a detail of the photograph of Jack's great-grandfather's saloon. The number of spittoons on the floor suggest that a lot of spitting was going on. In the lower right corner you can see the edge of a pool table. The wire chairs and tables would be very nice to have. I am not sure of the purpose for the rag hanging from the bar.
Nighttime: full window - with parking in front!
This holiday, we wanted to do something really special.
Ducduc's Cabana collection, along with an Eames wire mesh chair make the perfect backdrop to show off our holiday spirit! We chose a rich, red fabric for our Cabana Crib and Cabana Armoire (yes, that's fabric peeking out between those slats!), and weaccessorized with our favourite ceramic pendent lights by Jim Schatz. Top it all off with some lighted trees and fun toys for a traditionally Modernist holiday window display -- for baby!

The Art Gallery of Landskrona
The strict architecture of concrete and glass is considered one of the best examples of Swedish modernism.
Landskrona art gallery was built in 1963 at Landskrona's 550th anniversary as an exhibition hall for industrial design. The hall was designed by architects Sten Samuelsson and Fritz Jaenecke. This was the only building that was preserved in Slottsparken after the anniversary ended.
Landskrona Art Gallery is one of Skåne's most beautiful art galleries and the exhibitors favorite. With its large window walls, and its practical design the gallery blends into the surrounding park. The simplicity of the hall highlights and enhances the art and light plays with the viewer's eye.
The Gallery’s southwestern wall is decorated with a sculptural glass wall by the glass designer Erik Höglund. Housed in the gallery is also a cafe with decor remaining from the opening in 1963.
More designs by Jaenecke & Samuelson . Here you find pictures of Architect Sten Samuelson’s and Architect Fritz Jaenecke’s own work

I found this chair on kijiji while on the hunt for an interesting, unique and affordable new desk chair.
I'm not exactly sure what the chair's make is (if you know - please tell me!) but I really like the looks of wire chairs, so for $50, I decided to go for it. With a little TLC (I repainted the black wire, and a friend of mine helped me to reupholster the once-perwinkle/purple cushion) I think she's lookin' pretty good.
In 1951 Charles and Ray Eames created this chair starting from the shape of their famous chair in fiberglass, replacing it with a structure made of curved steel wire. The seat is original manufactured by Herman Miller and has some signs of use, the wooden rocking base has been replaced recently.

Today I finished making this for my 'textiles' unit which is part of the art&design that I'm doing at college. Tights strapped around a fairly tough wire, which I bent and formed into what you see now. The tights were drybrushed with black and then painted in yellow and red inks. I just added some thin wire around it in a wild fashion, and here's what I ended up with.
