We use this wire at school in a practical about the properties of alloys. There's brass, copper and constantan, all the same gauge. Hang masses from them, see which stretches the most.

I found this tangled ball in a lab I was tidying and thought it looked really pretty :)

I thought i hadn't been out for a while so i headed out for a few shots.

This is a composite of two images, one is the wire wool shot and the other is me driving down the road for the light trails. There was heavy fog but i really like the effect.

Gorgeous bright brass daisy shaped bead caps are accented with small white freshwater pearls at their centers, and are adorned with little golden toned stamens, also dripping with tiny white freshwater pearls. I love the classic combination of the gold tone and the white!

Including the gold plated kidney wires, these measure about 2 1/4 inches, or about 5 1/2 cm.
