From a styled shoot at the Van Dusen Mansion in Minneapolis, MN. One of my favorite venues to work at. This was from a shoot in 2022 so its time to finally share some!

The bride Zoe saw a photograph I did a while ago from a previous wedding where I placed the couple in an empty champagne glass with lovely bokeh in the background, as her wedding was on New Years Eve there was a lovely christmas theme, I took some detail shots of christmas baubles etc. and stumbled across this one this morning, I thought this would be perfect to replicate the same kind of style.
As a New Years resolution Me & Gareth have decided to try and do a 365 project ( hopefully I'll be able to stick to it if I get a little less busy it should be do-able)
This was taken with Nikon D3000 and 35mm at f1.8!

Everything in this photo is real except the castle.
I shoved my wedding dress into my snow pants, took the T-Bar to the top of the mountain, snowboard/ hiked to this location ( because I didn't want people to see me, although it was a fricken snow storm lol).

Who would have expected a crazy snowstorm in October? Well thats what we got at this past weekend at a wedding I photographed at Mohonk Mountain in New Paltz, New York. I really liked how this one came out so I sent it as a teaser photo to the couple..more to come!

Today was such an amazing day.. I called upon models Ash and Harriett and after more than 3yrs we got back into action with a day of mock Leica wedding photography to show couples what is possible for their wedding day. I managed to pull together a team of not only Ash and Harriett but also a hotel wedding venue, a florist and a wedding dress shop. Each gave the collaboration their 150% resulting in a very rewarding day.
The reason for my test photos yesterday is I knew today I wanted to use the new lens for what I bought it for! It didn't disappoint!

This is from a winter wedding 20.February 2010.
It was snowing and bitter cold ( -14c. )
Ambient light only. ( the white snow stand in for my forgotten reflector)
