Image test. Full frame sensor (Sony A7IV) vs Crop frame sensor (Sony A6500). Same settings, taken a minute apart, both set to maximum zoom (500mm). Crop factor on A6500 (1.5) giving a visual equivalent of 750mm. Some would argue the A6500 gives mor 'reach' - good for wildlife and such - but in reality, in this isntance, when I crop the A7IV image to the same, it's slighly sharper and better resolved colour and tone wise. But this crop size loses a few miegapixels. Six of one, half a dozen of the other. IMHO
