The New Holland Honey Eaters are having a turf war at the moment,. A neighbouring flock has been trying to expand their territory and have been invading our garden which has greatly annoyed the resident flock. Numerous time during the day squabbles have been breaking out and they have actually been getting quite violent with each other and even fighting on the ground, although I have not seen any serious injuries.

Winter Sun....
February finds us locked in the middle of winter and the cold temperatures have frozen the ground; a blanket of fresh white snow covers the ground. The winter sun glimpses over the distant horizon, Painting the sky with a pale blue ad yellow glow.
