The Karate Monkey, now even *more* Winterized thanks to Planet Bike's "Cascadia 29er" fenders. It only seems to be an issue in the Winter after a fresh snow-fall and when the temperature hovers right around freezing. These will stay on the Karate Monkey until Spring has arrived and I'm back on my other bikes for commuting duty. Then the Karate Monkey will see some trail-worthy upgrades.
i forgot to bring my bicycle in last night. the rain had already changed to snow when i rode home, but it hadn't started to stick much. a quick dusting of the seat, however, and i was "good to go" as they say. dealing with the ice on the streets, however, was another story altogether.
