This is how Nobel Prize winner Juan Ramón Jiménez titled a poem dedicated to poppies. One of the fragments of it says:
Poppy of the road//red like a heart//I will make you sing to the sound//of the mill wheel//I will make you sing, and to the sound//of the aching wheel,//I will open my heart to you, poppy of my life!
It was a cool, calm, misty, foggy morning......
Waiting for the sun to rise & the fog to slowly lift, this lonely cypress was just screaming peace....serenity......& solitude.
Sure is the time of year to have some of that....
Peace to all this Holiday Season.
Thanks for the visit. Feedback always welcome and very much appreciated.....
Happy Sunday & have a great new week ahead !
MRL 265 leading the R-MISPPS down the MRL 5th Sub. While fighting clouds & shadows through the canyon the sun popped out & shadowed stayed away as he rounded the curve here. Pacing this guy through the canyon on Route 2 was a blast!

This yellow, frayed Tulip had the attitude of a winner?
Flowers can be almost as expressive as people, in my humble opinion.
Hope you see it too?
Hope you have a day full of love and thanx for visiting and commenting, Magda, (*_*)

With a wet spring and now summer too, water levels in the Great Lakes are higher then they have been in years. Great for sailors with deep keels but not so much for people with homes or cottages close to the water. Everything seems to have it's winners and losers.
This image is actually from last year, when water levels were already a bit higher. It's not often we see a sunset here with such a lavender hue.
