The building now housing K21, the museum of contemporary art in Düsseldorf , was once the seat of government for the Rhine province of Prussia, prior to becoming the Parliament of North Rhine Westphalia in 1946.

I was feeling uninspired about creating a new "slider" today but definitely had a winter scene in mind, as it is 15 degrees F, with light snow falling. As I searched through my previous collages, I came across this one! I hope that you will all enjoy it. All of the photos in this composite were taken through my kitchen window.
Today's weather is nearly the same as when this set was taken, but even colder! (16 degrees Fahrenheit but feels like -4 F).

Last week, temperatures hovered around -20º C in Chicago.
That's when - photographically speaking - there is something to be said for single-pane windows ( just as long as they're not located in living quarters...)
