It's one of 'those' Pacific Northwest mornings...layers of grays getting thicker by the minute, and a wet cool salty breeze off the ocean. Today's portrait is underway.

This is my very first entry for June to the Wheel of the Year project.

No sun this morning - in fact, it's threatening rain (hardly surprising - it spent most of May raining). However, have got added interest of a van in the picture this month - how exciting can life get, eh?!!

Window views from the Queensland Government Executive Building, 100 George Street, Brisbane

There is construction next door that installed these yellow panels along the entire side of their building.

What you can't see in this picture but you should be able to imagine is the yellow panels next door make all the light coming in the window very yellow.

Everything on that side of our building is now tinted yellow. Even with all the blinds closed.

Trust me, this is not the place you want to spend your entire day.
