Lovely natural reflected light from a brilliant sunrise behind me to the west, shadowed by the trees. I see the buds on the plum trees and hear eagles chirping above, slicing through my view to the water below. It is a fabulous day to be living in this place.
Grabbing this shot from the flight deck required quite a bit of contortion. One of the plane's four mighty Pratt & Whitney engines keeps on turning.
I took this from a window bay on the 22nd floor of the Intercontinental Hotel. You can see the half-renovated Adelaide Oval and North Adelaide beyond. Adelaide Oval only looked this way for a brief period in its life.
The big western grandstand was only finished in 2010, and now the tent-like stands on the other side, as well as the red stand with the two towers, have been demolished and replaced by modern pavilions to match the western one. The red-roofed buildings in the foreground are the tennis stadium and the gym, which were not altered

Climbed the steps to the top of the Clock Tower in Corralejo, Fuerteventura to take these pics, worth the climb up.
