Rain, fog, and stillness. On the walk with the dog, I noted the sounds of water...dripping from the eaves, from the trees, down the drainage slough, off a plastic tarp...off my knit cap....a symphony of water sounds. My table is set with what I need to do today's art portrait, plus a book for inspiration, and always more pens than I will ever use. Coffee hot and cooling in a tall mermaid mug.
