Seven light Jesse window by Ward & Hughes from 1872.
The window shows the genealogy of Christ, beginning with Jesse at the bottom left. There are 28 ancestors, the top row being filled with the Annunciation, Virgin and Child, Angels, Christ, Ascension and Resurrection.
The window was presented by Sir Isaac Morley in memory of his wife Sarah Elizabeth.

The three famous 20th century Pier Head buildings stand on the site of George's Dock where slave ships bound for Africa loaded their goods.
The two dry docks, in front of the Great Western Railway building, were built in the 18th century, Slave ships were repaired in these docks. They are a vivid reminder of the horrors of Liverpool's slave trading, and monuments to the commercial success of 18th century Liverpool.

During my mail run I found this: iconic Flipje making a jump. The cat was a curious little feller. It kept looking at me with big eyes even when I cycled out the street, except when I took the picture ofcourse.
I found this window writing in an empty classroom at Kabul University. The window was illuminated by the early morning light as water droplets slowly condensed into small trickles that ran down the glass. The colors and shapes outside became more distinct as the writing disappeared.

Indeed they have a series of windows Happy New ... - Happy New Money, Happy New Shopping etc. Among them I have found this one :-)

Вы думаете это витрина секс-шопа? Заблуждаететесь - это одна из витрин ЦУМа. Прямо рядом с Малым Театром.
На самом деле, там у них целая серия подобных креатиффных витрин - Happy New .... Нарру New Money, Happy New Shopping etc. Есть, в частности, и такая :-)
