Another old window from the historical Carriage House at Coleman Memorial Park. Today the "Homestead" stables, known as the Carriage House (1853), stands in the center of the park.

Sometimes when we go to Paris, we get to stay in a beautiful old apartment on the île St Louis. It’s a cozy little place and the location could not be more perfect. This photo is what I see when I wake up and look out the back window on the 6th floor....
I borrowed the song title by Melissa Etheridge for this. After a day of rain, I went out late and for lack of anything better to shoot, I captured a window in my house. I guess you could call it a window of time.
House dated "Anno 1640".
Many thanks to all who have taken the time to comment on/or select this image as a personal favourite. Cheers!

My cat loves to sit on this ledge and look outside the window when it's open and repeatedly checks on me as well. I'm so lucky to have her. In November she had a cancerous tumor above one eye - rare for a two year old. They operated on her and hopefully she'll be perched in our lives for many many more years to come.
