Jen's craft for the 5-7 year-olds this week was making Butterfly Windchimes!

Our world was covered in ice overnight and the sun is out creating such a beautiful glow.

These chimes have such a deep tone that continues to hum for quite a while. They are rather zen like, and are quite medatative, if that is a word.

I like wind chimes. Have four hanging on my front porch. I find the sounds pleasant and soothing. I love it when I'm in bed on windy nights and listening to the sound of the chimes as I fall asleep.

Cheap turtle windchime I have on my porch. It almost looks like a snail.

inspired by a pin on pinterest- I gathered a bunch of antique store finds, drilled a bunch of holes, linked my finds with various chains, and now enjoy a collection of pretty things.
