En estos días la verdad es que no corre demasiado el aire, y aunque mi primera idea fué buscar un aerogenerador para hacer un contrapicado salvaje, al final recordando el anuncio de la lotería de Navidad, corté unos cachitos de papel de regalo y produje yo mismo el viento... Lo de raparme el pelo para hacer la foto ya son palabras mayores..

A windmill to produce electricity might become a good option in Iceland. This windmill is located on a farm named Belgsholt in Melasveit, about 15-20 minutes from Akranes.
Windmills should be quite useful in Iceland since we often have plenty of wind :-)

A wind turbine on top of the Packard Place building in Charlotte, NC, with the Duke Energy building in the background. I thought it made for a nice juxtaposition of concepts, a wind mill and a multinational energy conglomerate.
Packard Place was built in 1928 as an uptown showplace for Packard Cars.

Winds came up and we were pummeled by violent winds and torrential -- white-out -- rains. Six minutes later, it was over and the sun came out again.
Phase I
In the first phase 6 MW, five German-made gearless VENSYS 62 wind turbines each capable of producing 1.2 MW were installed/connected with 11 KV HESCO network and started generation in April 2009.[3]
Phase II
In the second phase, 28 more wind turbines of 1.8 MW capacity each, supplied by Vestas of Denmark were installed to produce a total of 50.4 MW electricity.[3] This increased the capacity of the project to 56.4 MW. The project was completed in March 2013.[1]
In July 2013, Zorlu Enerji announced that its 56.4 MW Jhimpir wind power plant in Pakistan had started to sell power to the Pakistani national power distribution company after having passed all the required tests.[4]
Currently the privately owned Turkish wind farm is selling the produced electricity to Pakistan at a rate of 12.1057 US cents per kilowatt hour of electricity.[3]
Currently, 45 wind power projects of around 3200 MW capacity are under process in Pakistan.[5]

Taken at Whitelee windfarm in Eaglesham moor. There are 140 turbines, generating clean renewable energy.
Love them or hate them - You certainly can't ignore them.
Personally, I love them - They add to the scenery.
Took this in the early morning hours this morning so there's not much to see, but plenty to hear as winds gust to 100 km/hr in our area!

동굴의 중간 레벨은 boxwork가 풍부한 곳으로 걸어서 내려갔다가 올라올때는 엘리베이터를 이용합니다.
투어 시간은 약 1시간 15분 정도이며 300 계단 정도를 걷게 됩니다.
동굴 온도는 11도 정도되니 얇은 자켓 정도는 준비하시는게 좋으며 신발은 운동화를 신으시는게 좋습니다.

In 1910 or 1912, depending on the source, Seaboard Air Line built a depot on Porter Street in downtown Winder. On Dec. 9, 1975, the railroad gave the depot to the city of Winder, and Seaboard Air Line’s predecessor, CSX, still operates about 30 trains through town.
