Willow trees on the River Trent in mono...

Sunset at Lake Wanaka and *THAT* tree.

Weide am Bach, Nähe Damerow / Uckermark

The Serpentine Bridge is a two hundred foot long winding bridge that connects the Chicago Botanic Garden's Main Island to the Evening Island. The cost to build was $600,000.00.

Well that is what it looked to me and you know how my mind works by now.

The white Azalea was so gorgeous that I thought it was rather regal looking and the little buds in front look like ladies in waiting.

Got the bokeh!!!!

Another one I took after lying under the Willow Tree. I'm sure John Cleese and the rest of the Monty Python Gang would understand my sense of humour!!!!

DOES look better larger as its only a small pic

And here is the last of my bird-in-willow photos. It was fun to see so many songbirds in one tree at one time. Not pictured are the Carolina wrens that passed through. Also not pictured is the osprey that startled me by crashing into the lake less than fifty feet from my spot next to the willow tree. Tall bushes obscured my view of the osprey, but I could at least make out that it did catch a fish on that particular dive.

Happy Gorgeous Green Thursday!

Taken from the deck of a lakeside holiday resort on the Murray River near Echuca / Moama on the NSW and Victoria border. It was virtually total darkness to the naked eye even with a small glow from my LED light box. A long exposure and high ISO helped light up the scene. The blue "baubles" in the willow tree are actually purple swamp hens roosting for the night and there is even a little pied cormorant in there too!

The autumn colours are gorgeous around Lake Wanaka at the moment!

Spring painterly Flypapers used were Sisley, Mistral and Paysage Linge.

Better bigger in the Lightbox so press the L key :-)

One of 6 photos taken this morning, taken from my living room in Toronto.

Have a safe and healthy weekend.

Because of my brother in law's (Fred) health, I will be scarce for the next few days. Fred is fighting a major battle with lung cancer. Please include him and his family in your prayers, meditations and other spiritual reflections. Thank you all so much.

Taken at the main lake at Shelton Vineyard in Dobson, North Carolina. This is a wonderful place to visit. The Harvest Grill is a really fine place for dinner and wine. What caught my eye was the reflections of the branches and leaves in the water. What a serene place!

More willows on the River Trent..

Found this lovely scene on the way to meet up with Phill. Our 1st location wasn't very inspiring and Phill had also passed the nice spot on his way to meet up so off we went to light it up. Cracking chiilled night with a bench just out of shot and the cars parked about 20 meters away.

Just after the rain, along the main beach in Goderich,Ontario.

Bicyclist's head barely visible in the deep shadow.

We're about to drive back to Canada . Spent last 2 hours walking and taking pics along the scenic Centennial Trail along Spokane River, in Spokane, WA, USA

A small old abandoned fishing boat

One of six photos taken when I went for a walk in Humber Bay Park West, in my Toronto neighbourhood. This man was sitting under this magnificent Willow tree. You can see a bit of Lake Ontario and someone walking by also. Best seen large by clicking on the photo.

Thanks for visiting, enjoy each day.

This is the prequel of my last shot. When we reached this spot at the park, I turned around thinking to take some photos of this barren tree. I immediately noticed a sky burn was developing in front of my eyes. So I walked a little further back from the tree to include more portion of the sky. It was an amazing sight to behold.

Thank you all for visits, favs and comments, it's greatly appreciated!

One above the plane of separation and one below. The Willow contemplates it's own existence as it stares into the abyss. Just as it is with life and death.

That's the way I see it, anyways.

Willow trees show the beauty even in snow covered winter. Feel warm and pleasant.
