I'm so frustrated with my light in macro. I don't really want to invest on a macro flash.... although I really should, rather I use my external flash and try to make different soft box or flash diffusers, but somehow I it isn't always work as I want it to. The other thing that frustrates me is that my macro lens is fully manual and when I use it on my Nikon D5300 and my flash it gives me a error saying something like " the flash is in ttl use another setting" and when I put my flash on manual it gives me the same error and I can't take pictures with my external flash on 😒. Interestingly it works well on my D300 and D850 ( I don't want to use the D850 for macro ). The only way to use the flash on my D5300 is to manufacture a seperate....flash holder and use it with radio receivers, The idea is that I want to use the D5300 because it has a tilt screen witch is extremely useful, and it has 23 mp compared to 12 mp on my D300..... Butt the D300 has 14 bit uncompressed raw vs the 14bit.....? I don't really know if it is compressed or not on the D5300. Seriously Nikon should had made their entry level dslr compatible with manual lenses ( when I put it on it says I don't have a lens on and it doesn't give me a exposure feedback, that to be honest it doesn't bothers me, I use the histogram or... the lcd screen to check if it is exposed) and made it possible to use external flashes manually even if a lens " isn't " mounted on the body. Somehow I need to resolve the problem fast and cheap. Thanks for the visit and have a nice day.😊

I really like taking portrait photos of insects, I don't really know if I done well cropping the antenna of not. I used my 100 Laowa lens and I think it at 1:1 or 1;1,5. and I also use a flash with a home made diffuser. Thank for the visit and have a nice day. :)
B. major exhibits a unique flight behavior known as "yawing" and plays a role in general pollination, without preference of flower types. The fly does not bite, sting, or spread disease. However, the fly uses this mimicry of bumblebees to its own advantage, allowing close access to host solitary bee and wasp nests in order to deposit its eggs. After hatching, the larvae find their way into the nests to parasitically feed on the grubs. Wikipedia

This is a very widespread European and Asian species extending east to the pacific coast of China, though generally less common than the cockchafer where their ranges overlap it is nonetheless sometimes a serious pest of upland cereal crops etc. and fruit trees in northern latitudes and large infestations have destroyed areas of young pine trees. Essentially a forest species; through the Taiga and more southern steppe forest in central and northern Europe it may be abundant in forest clearings on light or sandy soils while further south it occurs in dense and shady upland wooded areas. Males are strongly attracted to light which makes the species relatively easy to survey and trap in order to help control infestations.

She has taken over the field and marsh to raise her baby. Technically it's her home and space and we just borrow it. She watches me and I watch her and we try to go about our day without any conflict. She has however made it very difficult to walk and exercise my dogs. I can't take them anywhere near her or her fawn so we now have about 1/4 of the space I usually do for walks and exercise. Such is life where the wild things live.
Caught the Wild Thing ready to strike at something behind that tree. This is a feral cat so it's basically both predator and prey trying to survive where the wild things live.
Chapter Three
The king of the wild things meets the storyteller...
I was inspired to try something different and create a series of linked images which reveal a larger narrative, a short picture book, if you will. I hope you have as much fun exploring the story as I had in creating it! This is the third image from the series.
Keep playing, experimenting, and having fun, my friends.
And keep shining so bright!
I came across a young coyote this morning on a walk in the field. Our human path is off to the right which they often use, especially when the field grass grows tall or the snow is deep. This was a very healthy beautiful looking animal.

I'm working in an area that hasn't been cleaned out thoroughly in a long time. it's next to the chicken pen so I'm accompanied by some chatty chickens while I work. ]
the photo on the left is thimbleberries, which I always want to call tingle berries. they are invasive so I'm removing them.
they have pretty white flowers and will manage to come back next year.
the photo on the right is some teeny tiny white flowers I found on the ground. sweet little things.

Metelkova is one of the weirdest places to see in Ljubljana, Slovenia’s capital. Formerly, the site was the Slovenian headquarter of the Yugoslav National Army. The buildings have been squatted since September 1993 in a declared illegal way, mainly by artists, activists and young students. In 2005, Metelkova was declared a national cultural heritage site and the European Cultural Fund attributes financial support. If you like graffiti, weird art, and quirky sculptures then this is the place to head to.

Flowers are such a delight! I call my freesias my 'wild children' ... as they never grow with standard stems - but curve and bend at all odd angles! getting them into a vase is hard work!! It made me think of "Wild thing"
