"They are a new Women's Institute group for 1940's re-enactors based in The Midlands, UK and are based on traditional activities of WI groups in the wartime era.

As well as making jam and baking cakes, they sing Jerusalem and make no apologies for it ! They also wear authentic 1940's clothes, often having victory rolls in their hair and wear seamed stockings

 

Yours truly purchased some of their bread pudding - delicious !
