Hi lovelies, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking this weekend and I sort of realized I want to try the whole30 challenge. To be honest I’m not sure I could give up.........
I think this might be my favorite combination from Chipotle.
AND no crippling gas from beans (which I love, the beans that is, not the gas).

#Whole30 Stuffed PeppersBeing raised mostly Mexican, I've been making stuffed peppers since I was 10 and mostly without a recipe. This time I followed it because spinach, butternut squash, and no cheese or rice! This was so weird without melty cheesy goodness holding everything together, but tasted mostly the same due to the right spices.#cleaneating
Today I am VERY grateful for my husband, who basically does all of the cooking in our house. I tell him what I want to eat, he cooks it. i say say, hey! We are doing a Whole30! He says, ok! And then he cooks things like this. If not for my husband, I might still be doing the Whole30, but I would be doing it only eating dried fruit and almonds.
{New Recipe} I like to call these raisin nut bites but the Pinterest crowd likes to call them PALEO Energy Bites. So as a sell-out to good blog traffic, this is what they shall be called. These are perfect to grab on a hectic morning for breakfast or for a mid-afternoon snack. Gluten-free obviously, but I also added a nut-free option so your kids can take them to school.

It didn't get over 32 degrees today so I'm mostly keeping warm by the "fire". 4 petsits on my last day off. Saw Ferdinand with Judy and Penny. Prepped a lot of food for the start of Whole30. Lobster Whole30 dinner with Kristen.

I had a birthday recently. I didn’t really get a chance to celebrate. I’m doing the Whole30, so there was no alcohol and no sweets. Beefy made it special with some lovely gifts, but, DAMN, a lady needs chocolate and wine on her birthday.
Indulgences will have to wait, but I’m celebrating the decade of my birth with some 70’s inspiration today. (Although, the coat is really more 60’s than 70’s.)
