A suspect enters the scene- Ah the evidence- injecting egg into aphid. ID'd as a braconid wasp
I love these old books. I have the full collection of Christie crime novels, hardcovers and paperbacks, originally belonging to my mother so a few of them are a little battered. I love how no matter how many times I read them I can never remember whodunnit.

Whodunnit
a needle in a haystack
investigative agencies
forensic science unpack
300 suspects
15 to a wolf pack
a pot calling the kettle black
a case they will like
all other case crack
the lawsuit will break
the taxpayers back
i hate to say it
justice riding piggy back
of a system that is
a railway run
without a track
before you say
jack robinson
the terrorists will be back
resilience , strong willed
words by politicians
our collective conscience hijack
another governance lethargy
on the beaten track
like potatoes
crushed under
the weight of a sack
intelligence power failure
not taken aback
on the mumbaikars soul
another terrorist attack

From a rehearsal of Monifieth Amateur Dramatics production of the hilarious whodunnit spoof "Inspector Drake's Last Case". On this weekend and next weekend. Wish us luck!! I play the butler. But did I do it......?
Another "page turner" from Kate Ellis, set in Devon, it concerns a number of murder victims burned to death, and as before Kate Ellis runs the main plot alongside a historical mystery. An enjoyable whodunnit.

I suspect it was a Raven, in the park, with a beak.
I was walking home through the Alexandra Gardens when I saw a Raven pecking away at something. As I approached it backed off & could see a strange object on the ground with a pile of gloop next to it. Although it looks perfectly intact the underside was actually broken.
Approximately the size of a large hen's egg, I think it's from a seagull but it would be nice if someone could confirm this. Might be another opportunity for World of Oddy to enlist the services of Uncle Bill.

It was decided that rather than spend another evening each playing on our own electronic devices, a group game would be attempted. I can't remember any positive memories of playing Cluedo, so I was the spoilsport knitting in the corner while the others put on their detective hats.
Whodunnit? The cast of Halliehurst Mystery Night presented clues to the crime of murder. The event was part of Halloween activities around campus.

Led by the University of Buckingham, this event series included workshops and events around Dickens’s last unfinished novel, ‘The Mystery of Edwin Drood’. These events contributed to an ogoing international project which explores this unfinished work through a reading group and blog developed from a digital re-release of Dickens's original monthly instalments, becoming a crowd-sourced whodunnit inquiry into which character the public believe committed the murder of Edwin Drood.
