UPDATE, Nov 1 '08 :

I just found this image... on the wall at the new Academy of Sciences Steinhart Aquarium! (whoa!) It's in the back a ways, next to a glass case with white shark jaws, next to another case with blue whale baleen. (It's the older edit, the one used at WikiCommons - which is where I believe they got it.) Pretty dern neato, if I do say so myself.....

als Ausstellungsstück hängt der künstliche Hai im Museumshafen von Den Helder.

 

The artificial shark hangs as an exhibit in the museum harbor in Den Helder.

A fairly large (~3.5 meter) Great White Shark clears the water in Gansbaai, South Africa. We finished off our fieldwork in South Africa with a few days in the Cape Town area and discussions and work on a new project involving white sharks. One of the images I captured while we were out on the water cage diving.
