White Sands National Park is an American national park located in the state of New Mexico and completely surrounded by the White Sands Missile Range. The park covers 145,762 acres in the Tularosa Basin, including the southern 41% of a 275 sq mi field of white sand dunes composed of gypsum crystals.
A quick day trip to this park, unfortunately there weren't any clouds to highlight the sky at sunset
Finnstadpollen near Sandoya on the Lofoten islands, a long fjord reaching deep into this island. At its narrowest point (here) the waters are shallow at low tide and one can see the ground through the amazingly turquois waters, while white sands and beautiful rocks strewn all over the beach delight the eye.
Just messing about. I dropped the shutter speed right down and panned the camera across the beach from left to right.... seems to have come out OK.
