A 1913 brochure for the Gedney Farm Hotel, boasted of complete sports and pastime facilities for guests. There was an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, swimming pool, bowling alleys, squash court, billiards and a pool room. Also included was a stable of riding and driving horses, polo ponies, and ponies and donkeys for children.
