This ring, reminiscent of a flower wreath, was designed and handcrafted by a goldsmith couple here in my city who also made our wedding rings. I chose blue topaz as the centre of the blossoms as it's my favourite colour and I wear a lot of blue
Just for fun - I was toooo lazy to use a tripod that Sunday, so it's a bit blurry and noisy - but I just had no time and muse for further attempts ; ))
Crazy Tuesday - theme of June 1, 2021: Silver
[for this theme anything silver in colour was fine - this is actually white gold ... and the 'blossoms' are 8 mm wide]
Macro Mondays - theme: jewelry
a small pendant, handmade by a goldsmith couple from our city who also made our wedding rings. This asymmetric heart has two different sides; the other side has the pattern of my wedding ring
I wanted something blue, too, as it's my favourite colour when it comes to clothes, so the goldsmiths suggested a "double sided" pedant with a blue stone
the pendant is 1.5 cm wide and long / the stone is 8 mm long
I am very busy today; almost forgot to upload this image. I hope that I will be able to catch up tonight or tomorrow. HMM

Macro Mondays theme is Broken.
A favourite pair of earrings of mine. I have been meaning to get repaired for quite some time now! This will serve as a constant reminder for me, until I get this done.😉
Finally dropped off at the jewellers on Aug 8/24! Can't wait to wear them once again.
This is what my car looked like after our recent snowstorm of 35 Centimeters!!! Couldn't even get from my door to the lane way, to my car! They call this "white gold" because the snow-removal crew makes big bucks to remove it all! This Winter is truly crazy-making!
Macro Mondays 'ring' theme.
My wedding and engagement rings, these are 46 years old. I haven't worn them for many years as my fingers swell up too much to risk not being able to get them off. White gold was very popular back then.

Finished Ring....2 carat center diamond....3.75 ct total weight. Commission job....client supplied all stones and material....I just got the opportunity to damage the stone....you don't have to worry too much about this risk with diamonds....but it IS a real risk, however small. In my hands, the tool most likely to damage a diamond is a beading tool.

One of the few favorite things that keeps me company.
Both are birthstones but mine is sapphire... lol
Reverse lens shot #4
This is the camera I had custom made for Sarah. It is 14k White Gold and has a cabochon sapphire as the lens. It was made by J. Mason of Chapel Hill, NC. To get the black finish he oxidized the white gold which it is highly resistant to. We had a fun time collaborating on this for Sarah. Mason is a true artist and thus incredibly talented Jeweler. I highly recommend him to anyone interested in custom jewelry. He IS the best!
I only gave him pictures of her camera and he made this.
Sarah has posted another shot as well.

Well if someone needs a shoveling job... you're hired! LoL! This is the view from my front window, my front lawn & roses are under all this white stuff! With the warmer weather, most of this had melted! Now with yesterdays snowstorm it's all back!!! You gotta love Winter!

#13: Vintage
The clasp for my sweet water pearl necklace, vintage just like me:)
One of my most regal designs this season, the Scarlett necklace is a luscious berry-red piece. It is comprised of a long handmade chain of faceted ovals of vibrant Cabernet red garnets, champagne Oregon Sunstone and shaded natural Zircon. The pendant of the piece contains a 16 carat drop of finely faceted Ametrine which glows in a golden champagne hue - or a pale lilac-lavender - depending on which angle it is viewed from. Within the pendant is the true gem of this piece. It is a 18K oxidized solid white gold fluted ball. The Art Deco ball is 16mm in size, and has been set with Pavé Diamonds. There are an impressive two-hundred and sixty four diamonds in all, or a total weight of two carats within the ball. Rough, raw silver Diamonds, golden pearls, Whiskey Quartz, more Zircon and Oregon Sunstone with plum-purple Garnets accent. A sterling silver toggle finishes the piece; a sterling silver signature tag adds the final touch. The collar of the piece has a lovely drape at 29" in length, the pendant is just over 2" long.
A quick shot I took of my sister's wedding and engagement ring. Her boyfriend proposed last week and I was the first person to get a crack at taking a picture of it. This was just something I setup on a curved sheet of 11x17 paper with a bounce flash. I need should have considered a different aperture though because I blew the other hand out of focus a bit too much.
