I set up on the sandy beach at Bay City's State Park and waited and watched the moon rise out of the water and blend itself with the streaky clouds. somehow this combo cast a red hue on everything making for a rather eerie scene.

I have been looking at this old gnarly tree for awhile now. The other day I finally found a location that did it justice. Behind the old barn against a whisky sky.
4th February 2021:
Risking knees I took a slow walk down to the wool shop in the arcade to see if Madame could help me my knitting.
I got there before she had opened so had a stroll around the town centre before going back. Sat on a bench behind the Mairie (or Town Hall) and looked up at the clock.
Liked the framing, but not the TV aerial, but you can't win them all.
Got my knitting sorted, now must find time to finish the neckband and my knee liked the bit of exercise.

I took a road trip around North Wales on one of the hottest days we've had this year. Stopped for a quick photo of Llyn Gwynant on the way to Llanberis.

When you combine steep cliffs and the large amounts of snow from the moist Pacific air that hits mountains of Patagonia, the snow pack is dangerously unstable, as evidenced in the long fracture line running below the cliffs and all the small avalanches along the cliff face.

In a part of the country that prides itself in being green year round, this view is a bit different for us! The past few years, we've had mild winters. This year, winter came with a vengance. It started raining on Wednesday and the piles have shrunk substantially.
Another angle of the Golden Ears Mountains in Maple Ridge, B.C. Here the late afternoon sun is brightening things up.
