Wheatpaste is great, but Liquid Nails Professional FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) will hold ANYTHING! You could paste a small child to a wall & it would hold (not that I condone pasting small children to walls, Hah!)

Lots of this stuff with a decent amount of water to thin it out, & voila!
