What's Next: Closing Plenary Session: CGI America 2012

All four companies of the 228th Battalion 'Northern Fusiliers', gathered in Toronto in 1917, commander officer Lt-Col Archie Earchman front and centre. Earchman recruited talented hockey players to the 228th ranks and -- believing that an all-star squad would enhance recruiting efforts for the Canadian Expeditionary Force -- managed to have a team compete in the National Hockey Association in the winter of 1917. The NHA was precursor to the NHL and the major league of hockey in its day. Several members of the 228th would one day be enshrined in the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Introducing our next new toy "Awesome TV”!

This is a project we have been working on since last year and finally the toy is ready. Here is the wax image preview and expect the release day announcement soon.

The TV design is based on a Japanese TV model in Showa era (1960s). The symmetric design of this model are the most of the reason we decided to use this look.

This time we want to pay tribute to 駄玩具(Dagangu/Cheap toys) and made it in sofubi. Dagangu are the toys that sell at 駄菓子屋(Dagashiya/Penny Candy Stores). A place offer a mind-boggling assortment of candy, snacks, toys that cheap enough for kids to buy with their pocket money.

We will share more info in the upcoming posts.
