All the slices together form a loaf with crusts at either end

Well, I couldn't leave the jean skirt plain, so I hauled out my fabric inks and rubber stamps and just played around. I like it, my son liked it better the other way. Oh well, I'm the one wearing it and I prefer funky.

I did this last night, something I've always wanted to do, turn an old pair of jeans into a skirt! I took an old pair of Kevin's jeans that he was going to throw out, cut out the ripped and worn inner crotch, took the pant legs off a pair of cords from my brother for the insides and sewed it up with cool thread, did a decorative stitch all around the edges, the edges are raw, I like the frayed look of denim. I also did some free hand stitchwork on the front and back with funky thread (you can't tell from the picture). I'm very pleased with the result!

More rubber stamping on the front, you can sort of see the crazy stitching I did with the sewing machine.

A perfectly reasonable excuse of a petulant calamity of things you do because you can do them because the thing you first thought of is rubbish but then so is this I just forgot it was still Wednesday where I am.

I made a crazy quilt stocking out of old jeans I have stored away. I left the seams on the outside intentionally so that they would look frayed and worn after a hot wash and a tumble in the dryer. I ended up giving this stocking to my friend's son.

I made Hayden a Calgary Flames crazy quilt stocking. Bought a second hand Flames t-shirt and used shirts that Hayden outgrew, tried my hand at free-hand embroidery on my new sewing machine and voila! a personalized Flames stocking, the only one of it's kind.

Scotch broth with chicken and rump steak, no barley.

I made a new adjustable collar and leash set for Jasmine. Spiffy, isn't it? For full (free) instructions, go to whatimade.wordpress.com

Free printable from www.whatImade.com - I think this is hilarious!

Did ignore my son who suggested offering these as trick or treats..."here...have a knife..."

Another Photo by: Sierra Skye

Today I made this one to welcome Christy coming to my house :))

I made this Charm braclet for Lydia {my niece}.

The photo was taken by my baby girl "Sierra Skye" who is in her own right an amazing photographer.

She has a natural eye and it's so special to see through hers.

These are my chicken quesadillas :D Packed with yummy delicious cheese and onions and tomatoes (this is the first time I've added cilantro and it tasted wonderful).

Really easy to make (I use the George Foreman Grill) and they taste oh so good ^_^

-featuring fresh summer veggies and shrimp from Costco!

This is a garlic grilled chicken sandwich/sub, with a side of macaroni salad. What I made for dinner tonight ^_^ (minus the macaroni, my mom made that yesterday)

Bilberry jam, picked the bilberries on Moel Arthur

just an old sheet i bought at the second-hand store. i couldn't find anything locally with elephants on it and that's the theme of James' room. i like the jungle animals though.
