Just got back from the faiir! Hellz yeahh.

And so about my new job. Well, it's called Croutons, and it's a sandwich/salad place. I'd say my job description would be in between a waitress, and someone who works at a fast food restaurant. Anyway, it's pretty fun, and I get dank, free food every day! And the pay isn't so bad, and I make a few tips.

Not what I want to spend the rest of my life doing, but I need money for my trip to Cambodia!

Oh yeah guys, did I tell you about my trip??

January 1st I leave for Cambodia for 2 months, with 3 weeks of traveling afterwards.

On my walk home from the bus stop, this window display caught my eye and captured my imagination. "Concretions," a sign explained. "A concretion is a compact mass of clay, sand, or mineral matter, usually spherical in shape that is found with a host rock of different composition. Concretions are a result of dissolved elements in water that precipitate around a nucleus, such as a grain of sand or fossil. These dissolved particles cement sediments together forming a hard mass known as concretion."

Not a very skillfully-executed photo but I was interested to document and share. As a lifelong beachcomber and picker-upper of stuff, I am wildly intrigued.

If you want to see the display for yourself, you'll have to mosey on over to Schenks' Corners and wander around a little to find it. (I believe the culprits behind this curious geologic collection are artist Natasha Nicholson and curator Tom Garver.)
