Leider hab ich momentan keine Zeit zum Fotografieren. Ich hoffe dieses Foto das ich genau heute vor einem Jahr in London geschossen habe entschädigt ein wenig für meine fehlenden neuen Bilder.
Unfortunately, I've currently no time to take pictures. I hope this photo I have just today shot a year ago in London compensated a little for my lack of new images.

Typisch Londoner Strassenszene, etwas düster. Kann mir nicht helfen, erinnert mich sehr an einen dieser alten Krimis, die ich als Jugendliche gelesen habe.
Typical London street scene, a little dark. Can not help me very reminiscent of one of those old detective stories, which I read as a teenager.

A cliché night shot from Westminster Bridge with the light trails from the passing bus - one of those must do shots in London that I had never done before:)
Thank you for taking the time to visit, comment, fave or invite. I really appreciate them all.

A very sad day for all, who support and believe in democracy, but it will prevail. RIP, Jo Cox.

Rare for me to see such colour over London on my visit...usually just clear blue (or grey)...
Had to use HDR for this as the range was so vast, hopefully I haven't over baked the result!

Westminster Pier, aka “Millennium Pier”, is the most popular starting point for people travelling on Thames River Sightseeing’s boat service on the River Thames.
Located next to the Houses of Parliament (also known as the Palace of Westminster), it’s within a short walking distance of major tourist attractions such as Westminster Abbey and the Cabinet War Rooms north of the river, the London Eye, the London Aquarium, the London Dungeon and County Hall across Westminster Bridge on the south. The pier is overlooked by a beautiful bronze statue of Boudicca and her daughters in a chariot defending her kingdom from the Romans, which, if you have a few minutes before you board your Thames River Sightseeing cruise, is well worth a look.
Buildings all around London were illuminated in purple in memory of Queen Elizabeth...
I did not realize the London Eye was actually moving when I took this photo - it was only when I saw it on my computer screen that I noticed the slight blurring as it slowly rotated. 37

My friend Rob (www.flickr.com/photos/126654575@N02/) asked me for more London shots and I am aware that I hardly post any shots of it ever. So here comes an apologetic entry from my last venture onto the Thames :)
A kind of picture postcard shot of London's Houses of Parliament with the one difference of extensive scaffolding going on to grant the old building an urgently needed overhold and repair.
Back from our trip, and we were in London! Had a fantastic time in this amazing city with so much to see. 17
The flow of time is always cruel. It’s speed seems different for each person, but no one can change it. A thing that does not change with time is a memory of younger days.
