We found this pack on the never disappointing Timbavati Road in the Kruger NP, South Africa.
While the adults were fine with the vehicle, the puppies were not sure about what they were seeing and passed through the thickets.

Hyenas live together in clans. Their dens are community dens, the puppies of a clan grow up in them together.
Contrary to their reputation, spotted hyenas are excellent hunters.
They are fascinating animals with a distinctive social behavior.
I like them!

somehow those puppies are always attracted by the head of the prey. Maybe because it is the last remaining part.

...Überraschung am Morgen.
...früh Morgens im Ebersberger Forst.
... Surprise in the morning.
... early in the morning in the Ebersberg Forest.

As some of you know, little wolf Kolya has a sister named Natasha, and they share a deep sibling love (flic.kr/p/2k4A5sm). But Natasha also belongs to Secretary's daughter. And when the daughter moved far away to a foreign city for her professional studies, there was no question that Natasha would accompany her. And although Kolya, of course, understood this, he still feels very much for his sister. While it is still a few weeks until Natasha will come for a visit again, he often sits on the driveway of Secretary's house and looks at the road - the road on which she will finally appear.
And often his good friend Pedro sits with him and hugs him with a bear paw. Silently and with patience they wait together...

Two fox cubs have a little disagreement...

I know, panning is not everybodys liking, but me I like it. I still have to improve in that technique.

African Wild Dog running wild in the Okavango Delta, Botswana

As we know, Pedro and wolf Kolya are best friends, flic.kr/p/2gGHMpY. Two other cute little wolves (Haldir (left) and Legulas) have discovered Pedro after his arrival in our family quickly as favourite uncle and fafourite toy.

Before Bear Pedro joined our family, he lived in the French Pyrenees. But he was born and raised in the Spanish Pyrenees. Since he is also a true caffeine junkie (flic.kr/p/2eLANkg, flic.kr/p/25b5soF), he received a "Tio Pedro" cup from the parents of Legulas (left) and Haldir as a memory of his homeland and as a small thank you for his frequent babysitting.

The little wolves, Legulas (left) and Haldir, have taken to the weathered old bench and once again let "Tio Pedro" their favorite uncle, tell them about the adventures of his famous relative Paddington with the help of a pop-up book. By the way, Paddington and his beloved Aunt Lucy are on the upper deck of the bus on the left side.
