Can greylag geese be white?
It can be white, completely gray (like the wild form), or somewhere in-between.
Are greylag geese native to UK?
There are two subspecies of Greylag Goose recognised: Western Greylag A. a. anser from Iceland, and north and central Europe; wintering from Scotland, south to northern Africa and east to Iran.
The greylag goose is a large, bulky, goose with a big head, and the largest of the grey goose species. It was one of the first species of animals to be domesticated in Ancient Egypt about 3000 years ago and is a typical farmyard goose. The domestic breed is known as A. a. domesticus and can interbreed with Anser anser. Many birds seen in the UK outside of the winter months are re-colonised from domestic populations and are often semi-tame. It is seen as a pest due to overgrazing of agricultural crops and is listed in Schedule 2 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act, meaning it can be killed or taken outside of the close season.

i took an old, big, grey shirt and did my first step into this new created room. and suddenly i walked into another world. running, standing, dancing, laying in the water. it was my kingdom. my heart was filled with joy.
and in the end i was so calm and still. was just sitting there enjoying the silent mood.
that's why i take self-portraits. its such a great way to understand yourself. to calm yourself. to make yourself feel better. to make yourself feel.
and it felt so good. and after all i love this image. it is always able to bring back these feelings.

Eis que o texto principia com lábios, dentes, língua

in a well of leaves
I wait to write in this well of leaves with hands
between trees,
everything comes slowly in black labyrinths
or sequences of a confused white calligraphy.
I love this soft hiding place and the tireness of landscapes.
Here it is when the text begins with lips, teeth, tongue
and with sound of the wasps in its gracile sleep.
What it oscillates in the blackness is my barren food.
My phrases have a scent of water and heat of a quiet flame.
Inside of an uncertain face I learn the solar petals
and between the clear shades I am yellow soil, I am
wine and rock,

Wells is a small mining and tourist town in the Cariboo region of BC. It is located on BC Hwy 26, 74km east of Quesnel and 8km before the highway's terminus at Barkerville. Gold is mined nearby. There are many recreational activities as well, including mountain biking, canoeing, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing.
Well not exactly. First it is identifiable - namely, it is the sun shining through a cloud of smoke. Secondly - the sun may travel from east to west but it definitely does not fly. Thirdly, - well I suppose you could call it an object.

Well I am on the move again. I am now at a wonderful farm (house sitting till Nov).... yeh! I can bring my horse. She is the dark one in front. The boss of Maggie.. but not me. Maggie is my sisters 3 year old mare. Maggie is so funny. She is just like a curious puppy and always getting into things, wanting to smell it and put it in her mouth. and a real sweety.
I have ridden Cricket a few times and feels good to be in the saddle.
Having internet problems and sometimes I cannot even connect.

I took a little relax time after all that high energy egg searching,
Serving the popular tourist suburb of Arashiyama in western Kyoto is the Hankyu Railway's Arashiyama Line. This short local line connects Katsura Station with the namesake city and is served by these 1970's era 6000 Series EMU's every 10 minutes. Another aspect of this line that is noticeable is not just how well maintained and clean their trains are, but their lineside infrastructure as well. Silver riveted catenary gantries and silver signals with finials; how retro!
The "Handsome Railway" living up to its name, that's for sure.

While Natalie has been away for meeting some
flickr-friends in the Harz-Mountains, we 4 men have
had a very nice wellness-weekend.
Henry enjoys it to have a complete sofa for his own.

People pay a lot of money to have furniture painted to look well worn and chipping like this fence was. But this one was au natural. It stands out in this town of well kept fences and lawns.
