This is a little different than my usual nature postings. This is my son, who after completing a 9 hour day at his normal welding job, stopped by to help his Dad with another project. He's welding couplings onto a drill stem. They have 40 of these to do. Once completed, they will be used on small water well drilling rigs that will be shipped to Africa through Kilolo Star Well Drillers Project. The well drilling rigs are funded by a local businessman who also travels to Africa to instruct local villagers on the rig's operation.

I decided to come up with my own mailbox design. The mailbox length is 19” and the width is 11”. The duck and the mailbox roof are ¼” steel plates. The rest of the mailbox is 3/16” steel plate. It was painted using OneShot paint.
