Just a quick post-and-run, to wish you a happy August!
August--already! I’ve been scarce on flickr lately—I got a new computer, and I’m slowly but surely (lol, with a heavy dose of procrastination) working towards getting all my files and programs and settings etc. loaded. Though I had intended on replacing my trusty old one soon, a recent upgrade to my internet service made it the right time (also known as made it not be able to pick up or keep a good connection ;-)
The weather today was finally a little cooler and cloudy, though still so humid, so I worked out in the backyard garden, (lol, procrastination...) I finally pulled up the crabgrass which had choked out most of the small zoysia grass lawn. I planted new grass plugs, which I got on Saturday from a “grass farm” (who knew? ;-) and needed to be planted asap. Almost done, then back to computer...lol. I’ll be seeing you soon... :-)
Welcome, August! The heat of July is past us and now things are cooling down (hopefully). Our favourite summer month! We look forward to seeing you all!

Um novo mês pela frente!!
Certa vez eu li por aí que não devemos temer a vida. E muito menos ter medo de vivê-la.
Quando mais nova, pensava que não ter medo de viver a vida significava fazer coisas loucas. Coisas que talvez todos faziam OU deveriam fazer em algum momento de suas vidas.
Ouvia as pessoas comentando que todos devem ter histórias para contar, e também gostaria de ter as minhas.
Então em um belo dia resolvi viver!
