This $500 tin of "Roasted Eel with fermented black beans," locked in a display case, is one of the few really "weird" things at Weirdstuff
Whenever we travel we look for unusual stuff. We also like street art and popping into art galleries and interesting stores. This album is mix of all that from a trip we took to Barcelona, Spain, in January 2025. What a beautufil city - I would go back there again!

Best Happy Meal toy EVER! This was from a Cairo McDonalds. It's had pride of place on my window sill ever since I got it.
Yes, it was painful. How gross is this anyway? I think it would win the prize for the most unusual and weird photo I have seen.
Friend & I went to Sevierville Flea Market after the car show. He's never been to this flea market. There are ALWAYS weird pictures here!

Make/Craft display at Weirdstuff. It had been sprawling over a second display shelf-- and was that much more impressive-- before they saw me coming with the camera.
These seedlings were actually growing in the sink drain at work. I think they must have started from the tomato seeds I rinsed down the drain from my salad bowl. Amazing.

Quirky shot I took while photographing an Outrigger Canoe Race. The hand and drink belongs to a paddler floating in the ocean after being dropped off by a support boat. He raises his hand so the steerer of the canoe he is about to swap in to can see him and steer towards him. The support boat will then swing by and pick up the swapped out paddler. I like the way there is a lone hand seemingly raising from the ocean. Quirky....surreal even. You see some strange stuff out on the water...
