Das habe ich als Einladung zu einer "Diashow" gemacht, die ich anlässlich meiner Urlaubserlebnisse veranstaltet habe...........

Whenever we travel we look for unusual stuff. We also like street art and popping into art galleries and interesting stores. This album is mix of all that from a trip we took to Barcelona, Spain, in January 2025. What a beautufil city - I would go back there again!

new version, with some composition improvements

They tell me there's lots of bargains out there everywhere.

And should I ever want to find any of these bargains,

All I have to do is follow this truck,

And Watch For The Brake Lights.

this was too classic to pass up

Spotted in a restaurant, Hong Kong Island.

Due to some break-down somewhere between LHR and HKG, and despite some hour or so delay during the layover trying to fix the problem, by the time I boarded... no music. Some movies were playing.

Hey, I'd time to do an assignment instead.

Taking photos of flowers, plopped my ring onto the flower. This is the result.

My brothers told me to put this on my head. Apparently it's a scalp massager and is said to help relieve stress as well as increase the blood flow in your head.

The bad thing is, I can't use it without laughing my head off because it tickles. :p

... It's not very good, as expected. But I guess it can come handy when you just need to dose yourself with some caffeine ASAP. Which, for me, is not very often. I will probably try to mix it with my henna to get more brownish colour :)

so-- weirdstuff is a warehouse that sells computer remements and "doodads". It's on matilda in sunnyvale, about a halfblock from yahoo. it says something about my yahoo life that I never found time to come by and explore when I worked there....

damn it is cheap, tho. I think you could build a startup for a grand with parts there. or as scott said, "cheap enough you could use it for art"

Fortress Hill Station, Hong Kong Island.

The only modification I did to this was resizing!

-- Taken at night outside (obviously).

Not that good a stitch as last time; this time I didn't have time to do manual adjustments. That and it was a rather overcast day. I'll re-post this one later if I do eventually get to fix it up a little.

As usual, probably better to click on All Sizes, etc etc etc.

There were actually four of these little toothpick holder guys but I gave the rest away. He lives in my car. The toothpicks are not anything I'd want to put in my mouth - they are splintery!

Tiny Albert looks at the feast that beholds him. Mmmm, chocolate coated vanilla ice creams.

OK, so it's a fire exit sign, but even then, it was placed above the airbridge going to the plane I was boarding.

Tiny Albert (right) and new cub (see www.ibiblio.org/ahkitj/diaries/tph/archives/000417.html for naming contest details!) examine the nutritional information of the ice creams they've been eating. Hmmm.

I wonder why the male icon in the same ferry terminal had the man's head depicted smoking a pipe. Odd.

At least this thing claims to use real Ovaltine drink powder, Tiny Albert surmises.

for $120, you could take jesus home.

Spotted at HKG departures hall entrance; at first I thought the representation of flames were really knives. Oops. :(

Hard to believe these photos lingered that long. I was somewhat happy that we got to go to Disneyland two hours before closing, mercifully, although we were mostly required to stay at California Adventure.
