Since I had the day off, I played backyard tourist at Gilgal Garden in SLC. The area is a pseudo-park behind the Hostess factory. The air smells of bread.
From the literature obtained at the park:
"The garden contains 12 original sculptural arrangements and over 70 stones engraved with scriptures, poems and philosophical texts."
In a phrase, it's damn weird.
Friend & I went to Sevierville Flea Market after the car show. He's never been to this flea market. There are ALWAYS weird pictures here!

Heading to the subway, I noticed this 'smoking' leaf on the ground. Turns out it's just cotton batting from Halloween decorations. Cool anyways.
The top portion of a lifesize cardboard cutout of Tuesday that my ex-boyfriend found by the side of the road years ago.
This has been on a shelf in my parents' house for ages, but I never really read what it said on the bottle. Odd.
I can't decide if this guy is a performance artist or a nut. He hangs out by the side of the FDR and puts up weird signs. Last year I saw him holding a watermelon over his head, and on a separate occasion, with a giant inflatable penis.
As I walked down the road to the subway station, I saw this collection of various tomatoes sitting on this small stone fence. Now you've seen them too!
Very kitschy cowboy boots decor! Saw this while attending the Round Top Antiques Fair with my mother this October.
It's a tasty BBQ recipe called beer butt chicken. With a name as such and a photo like this I find it to be quite self-explanatory.
Highly recommended!
Whenever we travel we look for unusual stuff. We also like street art and popping into art galleries and interesting stores. This album is mix of all that from a trip we took to Barcelona, Spain, in January 2025. What a beautufil city - I would go back there again!
