La Delice Pastry Shop is a family-run bakery that has been in business since 1935. This #momandpop bakery's three-layer vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream was made famous on Tina Fey’s skit on Saturday Night Live @nbcsnl last night when she said. “I would urge people this Saturday, instead of participating in screaming matches and potential violence, find a local business you support, maybe a Jewish-run bakery or an African-American bakery. I was really happy with this doodle. I drew it at the kitchen table and was pleased with its simplicity. Just a few solid lines and there you go: one of the coolest head writers/news guys Saturday Night Live has ever had on staff.
At the end of the tour, you could get your photo taken at a Weekend Update desk and they'd superimpose it with a host of your choice. I have a few different hard copies in different poses, but Tina Fey was a no-brainer. I wish you could have been with both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, though!
