The weekend wouldn't be complete without a shot of Ripley enjoying the great weather we had. This crazy toy is nicknamed "face hugger," and is one of her favorites. If you hadn't guessed it, Ripley is named after the character played by Sigourney Weaver in the movie Alien. :)

It's a quiet Saturday morning at the former C&NW Watertown depot, as Union Pacific's northbound ballast train heads back toward Clyman after dumping 47 of 93 loads on the Clyman sub the previous afternoon. The three big units that took the train south, are setup as boxcars on the rear of the train, while a GP40-2 and GP60 combo came out of Butler to pull the train back to Clyman Junction.

Last weekend I stepped out of the stable door and looked up toward one of my favorite trees and noted the wonderful light peeking through the changing leaves. I thought it was a wonderful opportunity to try for a silhouette of the tree since this time I actually was lucky enough to have my camera in hand. I was surprised when I downloaded the card on to my computer to see what my camera really captured. I never expected the glowing wires of the paddock fence with steam radiating from the posts and boards. I hope you all enjoy.
