Stay connected to Dartmouth:
This is my entry for this weekends blender challenge. The topic is "Epic Failure". Its a tough subject to illustrait, but I managed. The most chalenging part of this was modeling the head (w/ textures).
I spent a great weekend, photographing dances. My main setup was 3 Indra 500's. I set up a 4th light with a wide angel dish and grid way off to camera left. I changed the channel for that light and had a second remote on my D810 with a Sigma 35mm. My hope was to catch the in-between shot when the dancers were thinking about the pose they wanted to do. I only got 33 images with that setup, but I'm digging how it worked out.
This weekend, workers rehabilitated the Dyckman Street station on the 1 Line. Photo by Metropolitan Transportation Authority / Brian Liona.
2014 HorrorHound Weekend in the Sharonville, Ohio suburb of Cincinnati. The HorrorHound convention is an annual celebration of monster and horror films. We all need a good excuse to dress up and many of us can't wait until Halloween.
This guy was having almost
too much fun. He was obviously having fun and laughing a lot which made looking evil and threatening a bit harder for him, but I think he managed well and I appreciate his working with me to get the shot I wanted.
Since horror films are not really my thing, you'll have to tell me who this guy is portraying.
Check out my "HorrorHound" album for more.
