Although weed it is a welcome bloom this time of the year,

in two weeks there is a war to get rid of them:-)

I really don't know what this is ... I believe some type of weed ... because I found it in a field of weeds .

The Butterfly Weed is blooming and I hope to see more butterflies now! So far this year I have seen only one Monarch and one Swallowtail in the yard early on when the Viburnum was in bloom. I plant lots of things for the adult and caterpillar stages so here's hoping!

Can you tell I'm suffering from lack of inspiration?! On the plus side, my finger is nearly better - it's not purple and crispy any more, it's now pink and shiny :-)
