Today in Sydney I attended an eclectic wedding at salubrious Putney in western Sydney.
I will post some more pictures from the wedding in due course!! I have sought permission from the 'crew' so I don't end up in Sydney Harbour, lol
This is the couple leaving their home in Putney, on the way to the St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Victoria Road, Ryde.
All the smoke is from various vehicles, notably the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS (see my last post) performing bizarre 'burnt outs' in the street.

Chatsworth House
Chatsworth is home to the 12th Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, and has been passed down through 16 generations of the Cavendish family.
Wedding Car
Beauford cars are supplied in kit form. The first cars were made in 1985 and used a Mini bodyshell mounted on a ladder chassis This compartment was later replaced by a glass fibre moulding. At the front is a long bonnet with flowing wings at either side to give the appearance of a 1930s luxury car. Almost any power unit can be fitted. The suspension is sourced from the Ford Sierra. Both open and closed bodies are made.
The cars became popular as wedding transport leading to a "long-bodied" version being produced with a slightly shortened bonnet and narrower rear parcel shelf to give much roomier accommodation for rear seat passengers.
The Beauford company is British and located in Stoke on Trent.

I discovered this wedding car outside 'Pier One', on Hickson Road, Sydney, during my harbour walk on Saturday, 16th January, 2021.
'Pier One' is a very fancy, boutique hotel, located on Sydney harbour. I suspect that the wedding party had arrived for the reception at 'Pier One'.
Two large men, both built like Conan the Barbarian, were guarding this vehicle. They allowed me to photograph it without too much drama.
I must say - I have not seen a "stretched" Rolls before!!
