Yesterday evening I got to photograph my second wedding ... this one again for family. My sister-in-law was getting married and asked if I could take the photos. A challenge worth taking on, and I was prepared to see how the Canon 5DM3 would really perform in the low light, etc. Always fun to do high ISO bounce flash as well, and had plenty of opportunity for that as well.
This was shot about an hour before the wedding while the sun was setting. Caught some of the last light coming in through the windows and the interaction with the table settings was pretty cool.
Since I couldn't wear a wedding gown I find myself recently creating new preferred memories decades after the wedding, This gown would have been a good choice in the year I was married.

After Helene and Kenneth's wedding I had so many good pictures of the lovely couple that I found it difficult to limit the selection. It was a day with equal amounts of sun and wind and the challenge was to get something good out of both. Luckily, it was not difficult since I had a warm and committed couple in front of the lens.
As shown in the image, we sacrificed the umbrella in the name of creativity. The interpretation must be something like: Stick together in tailwind as in headwind...
;)
