Website rangers WWF The bees help flowers and plants in love. It works like this: a male flower has stamens. There's pollen on it. That looks like yellow powder. A bee dives into the flower in search of nectar. The pollen sticks to its fur. The bee then flies to a female flower for even more nectar. It leaves the pollen on its pistil. You call that pollination. This is how a flower is fertilized and new seeds grow. Without bees and other insects, the love between flowers and plants would go terribly wrong and strawberries, tomatoes, watermelons or apples would no longer grow.

Despite the mixed bag of weather we've been getting lately - and a general feeling that the bird migration has been slowed by the cold nights and a couple of surprise snowfalls - there's no doubt that the spring resurgence of life on the northern prairie is underway. Therefore, over the next few days, we'll look at some signs of spring in and around Grasslands NP.

First up, this Black-tailed Prairie Dog with a mouthful of dried grass. The little rodents have been foraging now for several weeks, replacing fat reserves lost over the winter. I've watched them digging roots and clipping last year's grass, but recently they've been adding a little fresh salad to their diet.

Endless entertainment for a photographer visiting dogtown...

This is the first view that most people see when they visit Avebury.

We arrived nice and early because the place is so popular it gets crowded very quickly. We had finished our wanderings by 9.45am and the place was already pretty busy with coach parties arriving, etc.

The same procedure every year. Two applications are required to fly a drone in Thailand. A kind of driving licence or personal licence from the CAAT and a specific drone licence from the NBTC. Both applications require a lot of paperwork, forms have to be filled out and uploaded, photos with serial numbers, entry documents, an insurance confirmation, a residence address. If all goes well, the application to the CAAT has already been approved before the trip and so the application can be submitted to the NBTC with the entry stamp on the day of arrival. Ideally, processing will take less than half a day and you will then be sent a transfer order. The fee is 224 baht including bank charges. In the end, you have two certificates that allow you to fly a drone legally. I wouldn't do it without the certificates, because if the worst comes to the worst, you are covered, especially in the event of an accident.

A wonderful scenery between Ao Nang and Railay, a special the view from above!

Gladiolus (from Latin, the diminutive of gladius, a sword) is a genus of perennial flowering plants in the iris family (Iridaceae).

It is sometimes called the 'Sword lily', but usually by its generic name (plural gladioli).

Came into the studio, eager to photograph and was greeted by these beauties.

Love this, as sweet as candy?

Thank you, M, (*_*)

Era bellissima, lei, e guardava sempre il mare. Per poter vedere quegli occhi, lui, il mare lo tenne sempre alle spalle. E non lo vide mai.

She was beautiful, her, and always looked at the sea. In order to see those eyes, he, the sea always kept behind. And he never saw him.
