Sanghapala Foundation / Abhaiyagiri Buddhist Monastery received the World Tipitaka in Roman Script, USA 2010
In 2010, M.L. Anong Nilubol, one of the Founding Patrons of the World Tipitaka, supported the 40-volume special printing edition of the World Tipitaka in Roman Script and led a special pilgrimage to USA.
The World Tipitaka was presented as a royal gift of Wisdom & Peace from the late Princess Galyani Vadhana to Sanghapala Foundation / Abhaiyagiri Buddhist Monastery in California.
Over a century ago, Princess Galyani Vadhana's Grandfather, King Chulalongkorn Chulachomklao of Siam presented the Tipitaka, then written in Siam script, to three institutions in California.
The World Tipitaka in Roman Scirpt is also available online at for internet users. The presentation of the World Tipitaka to this Theravada institution is a merit-making deed and a gesture to present to the American people the authentic and prestineheritage of Theravada Buddhist Scripture which has been preserved in the East.
พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๓ ม.ล. อนงค์ นิลอุบล ผู้แทนผู้อุปถัมภ์พระไตรปิฎกสากล ได้ชักชวนมิตรสหารยร่วมกันอุปถัมภ์การพิมพ์พระไตรปิฎกสากล อักษรโรมัน ชุด ๔๐ เล่ม ชุดพิเศษ (2010 WebService Edition) และได้เป็นผู้นำในการเดินทางจาริกอัญเชิญพระไตรปิฎกสากลมายังสหรัฐอเมริกา
พระไตรปิฎกสากลได้อัญเชิญจากประเทศไทยไปถวายเป็นพระธัมมทานในสมเด็จกรมหลวงนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ แก่ มูลนิธิธัมมปาละ / วัดอภัยคีรี ในมลรัฐแคลิปฟอเนีย
เมื่อศตวรรตที่แล้ว พระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ผู้ทรงเป็นพระอัยกาธิราชของสมเด็จกรมหลวงนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์ ได้พระราชทานพระธัมมทาน แก่ หอสมุดสามสถาบันชั้นนำในมลรัฐแคลิฟอเนีย ซึ่งปัจจุบันยังเก็บรักษาเป็นอย่างดี ในครั้งนั้น ได้จัดพิมพ์พระไตรปิฎก ภาษาปาฬิ เป็นอักษรสยาม และได้มีตารางเทียบกับ อักษรโรมันให้นักวิชาการได้อ่านออกเสียงภาษาปาฬิด้วย
สมเด็จกรมหลวงนราธิวาสราชนคริทร์ได้เสด็จจาริกจากกรุงเทพมหานครไปพระราชทานพระไตรปิฎกสากล อักษรโรมัน แก่ประธานาธิบดีศรีลังกา ณ กรุงโคลัมใบ พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๘
การมอบพระไตรปิฎกสากล อักษรโรมัน ชุดสมบูรณ์ในสหรัฐ ซึ่งเริ่มขึ้นในปีนี้ เป็นการตามรอย พระไตรปิฎก จปร. อักษรสยาม เพื่อสืบทอดพระพุทธศาสนาให้รุ่งเรื่องสถาพร และเพื่อสนับสนุนการปฎิบัติธัมมะของชาวตะวันตกที่ต้องการปฎิบัติให้ตรงตามพระธัมมวินัยที่พระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าได้ทรงสอนและบันทึกไว้ในพระไตรปิฎกปาฬิ

I’m in my dad’s USAF flight suit, with a scarf of architectural plans, and bumblebee earrings: Plan B From Outer Space (for the Ed Woods fans www.youtube.com/watch?v=zw81urzR_9Q )
But also holding theater tickets – as a Pilot Stage, well, I *am* a Business Analyst ya know.
And the flashlight? My husband’s idea… I’m a Pilot Light.

Description: My husband loves cookies and he had this concept of having our son dress up as the Keebler Elf from his birth. He found the costume on EBay and it was in our eyes the cutest thing. One picture is him in the full costume and the other is when we took his hat off. He wasn’t happy about that at all. Our elf full view is not as good quality wise but you can see how little he was (elf size).
